i have a 2006 Chevy Colorado 5cyl. Every once in a while i have troubles starting it. Turn the key, let go of it & it keeps on like i'm holding the key too long. It acts like it wants to start but won't ever turn over. i can wait 10min try again & it starts like nothing was wrong. im an elecrician so i guess im fairly mechanically inclined but i know absolutely nothing about this kind of thing. in fact i just called my boss and am late for work as i sit here typing this. the best part is this started a few weeks after the warranty expired. any suggestions?

maybee the wire to your starter solinoid is bad....or maybee your starter is going bad.....my dads 92 chevy had those problemy

call a certified chevy dealership and ask for service, explain the situation, see what parts you need to fix it and buy them from like a napa or autozone and fix it yourself. youll save so much money doing it yourself rather than bringing it into the dealership and paying thousands
