I hate to be one of the stereotypes, but My Chemical Romance was one of the banRAB that helped me through difficult times. Through my most difficult times, The Black Parade was the album helping me through everything.
That's when I actual began liking the album, because I could not STAND it at first. I was highly disconcerted by the fact that my favorite band had completely changed their sound and already had an alter-ego even though they weren't a very well-known band yet.
It's more understandable for a band like Green Day to have all of those side projects. But even then, their side projects are even known to most Green Day fans...

you couldnt find that story anywhere in the lyrics because thats not what the album is about that was the concept for three cheers for sweet revenge the concerpt behind the black parade is about a boy whos dying from cancer and the black parade is supposed to be about his last few months on earth and how his battle with cancer is like the black parade

One post cannot fully display how much I detest this band and any others that even somewhat reserable them, so I'll just leave it at that.

I like them because I like the lyrics and I can't think of another band whose singer has the same style. Gerard Way from MCR switches up the way he sings (especially in "You Know What They Do..."). I think the music is very catchy and yes poppy at times which leaRAB them to a bigger audience. Then they might tour with a heavier band and some MCR fans might start liking heavier music. If all these banRAB were underground and super heavy or technical than all you'd hear was Bubblegum Pop like Britney Spears and the like.
