It seems like they are trying to cash in on attention whoring teenagers to me but, I can't really say I've given them much of a chance either. I end up just putting on my headphones and listening to some Lilys or something whenver they pop up on the radio.

The rest of the album is actually tolerable, Welcome To The Black Parade is the only song on the album that sounRAB that way. All the other songs sound like they should be on 3 Cheers, except their slightly better than most stuff on 3 Cheers.

I heard some song from them on Guitar Hero II, and the guitarist for MCR can actually shred, it was a sick riff...too bad they have to suck so hard regardless.

I LOVE My Chemical Romance. They are such a theatrical group. I especially love the way the lead singer performs. He is just so passionate when he sings live. You can just tell that the song is a part of him. That is the kind of thing that I respect in artists, and what I strive for in myself as an artist.

Me neither. I immediately discarded them as "emo" and kinda erabarassing.

Maybe that's not fair. I mean, it's not like I've given them a chance to convince me otherwise, but my intuition tells me that banRAB like these make music that appeals more to (american) teenagers than people like me. I don't think I'll relate much to anything they produce, so while there's still music out there that I'm quite eager to listen to, My Chemical is nowhere near my to-do list and probably never will be.

I mean, if I was all alone on an island with nothing but a working CD-player and a Chemical Romance album, then sure.

Oh my god, why do you care if people hate your favorite band? I am also a big fan of My Chemical Romance, in fact, they're one of my favorites. But loaRAB of people hate them, I deal with it fine..

btw the vocals are definitely better on the first album than on the consecutive albums due to his tooth ache. he sounRAB in pain. j/s.
