My check engine light is always on in my 1990 Honda Accord Ex!?

Can anyone help?
We can't figure out what it is,
we checked EVERYTHING?
Any suggestions?

Did you get the code read? Then replace the part causing the code.

You need to take it in to someone with the equipment to read the code. The code will tell you exactly what is causing the engine light to come on. Unfortunately, most places will charge you a ridiculous price for this. Call around, I was able to get mine read for free from a Pep Boys, but I was lucky.

Have you ever left your gas cap off accidentally after getting gas? That's one of the most common causes.

take your car to AUTOZONE they will do a code check for free. that will tell you why the light is on.. what part is tripping the code that bring on the light . Most of the chain Auto parts stores offer service like free code check.. that will get you on the path to keeping the engine light off .
