My cellphone won't recognize my bluetooth headset?

So i got an lg env and it came with a jabra bluetooth headset. So i just tried to connect it but my phone always says no devices found.
I put it in "discoverable mode" but it still doesn't recognize it. And yes the headset is turned on and fully charged.
