my cd player makes a popping sound out of my speakers ever since i hooked up 2 amps?

my cd player makes a popping sound out of my speakers ever since i hooked up 2 amps when its not turned up loud its fine then i turn it up it starts popping but i dont know what the problem can be every thing is hooked up right and i put in another battery because i thought it was because it wasnt getting enough power but it still does it does any body have any ideas?
