clip them...any advice? She is not a cuddley cat, and to try to hold her...not a great choice. I took her to a groomers to get them clipped, and they gave her back to me, saying "good luck"

As Suzi Q said, its time for the kitty burrito!! Check out youtube, you can actually find some videos on just how to make one. You can pull one paw out at a time, and your cat can't fuss a bit ;)

I have my husband hold my girl ( or let her lay on his lap, and he just keeps her from moving around too much) after she's just woken up, and then I clip her claws- 1 paw day, every 2 weeks. The first time, she fought and cried like I was hurting her (but I was being careful not to obviously). The second time, she was fine with it and just didn't like how long it could take. She will get better the more often you do it, but don't be nervous or worried when you do it, just sit down and get it done with, and she'll figure out that there's nothing to be afraid of.

wait until she is very calm and sleeping in her favorite spot. start by just rubbing her paws. Then gently clip just the tips off. If you clip to close then it will be painful.

If she just won't let you do it then your only choice may be to wrap her up and force her to let you do it. She will not like this at all but it can be done.
