my cat wont stop whining, its mostly at night and i don't know what the problem is.?

he has his sister, hes free to roam the apartment, including our room, so its not like hes lonely, i leave food and water out, but he still whines every night to the point where it wakes me up. he does it during the day sometimes also, i have no clue what the problem is!
 
Did you have him neutered? Sounds like he's pining for a girlfriend, so either you haven't had him "fixed" or you had him fixed too young...either way there's probably not much you can do other than getting him a "lady friend"...
