My cat is acting weird?

I've had four cats for the past seven years, and trust me, nothing's wrong with her. I like to think of cats as moody teenagers; sometimes they want to be left alone, and other times they want to be loved. When a cat is comfortable and relaxed, she sometimes gets snippy when she wants to be left that way. I was worried when my cats did that too, but my vet told me it was completely normal. So no worries. ^_^

Okay, so she was laying on my bed almost all day. And whenever I would try to pick or her she growls and whines and flicks her tail around really fast. What could be wrong with her?

Is she fixed? she might be in heat. If not that it very much sounds like she is in pain, probably from something in her abdomen.
