My cat is about 64 days pregnant give or take a few days. For the last week she has

whined in discomfort when I touch the area around her butt (like the back of her thigh). I only do this to check for discharge and to make sure she is clean. Is this normal in a cat who is about to give birth? Do you think it is is painful or that she just doesn't want to be touched in that area? She doesn't really cry when i touch her, she just sort of whines as if she is annoyed.
