There are no missing patches of fur anywhere, but she has been shedding big clusters of fur. There are little tiny balls of her fur on the carpet around the house. No discharge or visible buildup either, but there are two little rosy spots on her right ear that kind of look like scratches or irritation, maybe a tiny rash? They are really small and may even just be from the scratching. We can't really afford to take her to the vet. But she is scratching at her ears constantly. Any ideas as to whats going on? We live in Las Vegas, so no ticks and she is an indoor cat so it shouldn't be fleas or mites. We have another cat and she is completely fine.
