My cat has anemia and today we are going to the vet to discuss the results?

I called but the technician that spoke to me has a very thick accent and I couldn't understand her. All I remember is that my cat was severely anemic and had a blood transfusion. Also, that he tested positive for the virus or was it a virus, I don't remember. They want me to go at 3:30pm to the vet. What do you think? Will I be able to bring my cat home today.
 
Was it leukemia or feline aids virus? I beleive both of these can produce anemia. It really depends on whether they respond to the transfusion. I hate to say this but there is a possibility that they are asking you to come in to discuss the prognosis which may not be good at all if the virus was leukemia. I wish you good luck. Hopefully the kitty is doing okay. Personally I would call back and ask for an update on my cat. I would not wait for the appointment to know his condition.
