My cat gets on my lap and palms me why?

Its her way of finding comfort and she obviously loves you :) She was probably taken away from her mother too early, this is a common behaviour of this. Even a cat of 13 will still do this if they was taken away from its mother too early, my cat star does but she dribbles too bless her.

Its nothing bad, its cute if anything but can hurt too lol

One of my cats actually does a kneeling action on a blanket for example, as if he is kneeling bread! I think it is a sign of a very contented cat.

I actually looked this up a while ago to find out why cats knead their paws on things, and I found out that they have scent glands in the pads. When kneading their paws on things, they are actually putting their scent into whatever they are kneading. I found it rather interesting.

Hope this helps you out a bit. :)
