My car wont start can someone tell me why and how to fix it for Free?

Hi, I have an '05 Acura that turns over but sometimes it starts and sometimes it doesn't. The professional code readers at Auto Zone hooked up the computer, for free, and said they dont know what is wrong. I am thinking of putting a piece of tape over the light because I dont want to take it to a shop. My belt is cracked, I looked the whole car over and I am thinking this might be triggering the light. Anyone know of any websites I can get my car fixed for free? If you know of any, I would appreciate it, again I dont want to take it to a shop because I will get ripped off and I am on a budget. Thanks
 
No you cant fix your car for free. that's a stupid question, take it to a reputable shop and pay 300 before you augment the problem costing you 1,000 dollars
