I was just in an accident on the way to work, when my light was green, and so i was waiting for the cars to finish coming straight towards me so that I could turn left, and than the light turned yellow, and there was a car coming towards me but i thought they would stop, so I went and I didn't even make it through the intersection when a car HIT ME on the side of my car, and my car spun around and all air bags were deployed, and so we both got citations, and mine said "yielding the right of way", and she also got a citation, but I'm not sure what the witnesses said, but I didn't hit anybody and she hit me.
I have to go to court now because of this and I guess stand in front of a judge and tell them what happened, and I have never been in an accident before, and so I'm nervous. Does anybody have any tips or anything for me? she hit me so hard that she had to have ran the red light to cause this big of an impact when all I was doing is turning
