Was I robbed by my teacher or something?

One time (when I was still a smoker) my car was broken into (which was partially my fault considering I had left the window down enough to fit an arm in) and they jacked my cigarettes. My purse was in there and everything because I just went in the gas station to pay for my gas.

I had to go back in and buy more cigarettes. lol

I was living in Roger Arkansas a few years back and I left the windows down in my CRX with the doors unlocked. I also had the keys on the floor with over $100 in the glove box and my purse with about 7 different forms of legal ID in it. And I had a nice system in the car too. (yes stupid i know)

When I woke up, I wanted donuts so, walked out of my apartment toward my car. I noticed someone in my car. It was a big burly, non-English speaking, drunken, Mexican Man in jeans, fancy country shirt and cowboy hat & boots. He was passed out in my car with it in gear. I tried to wake him and so did my guy friend. We ended up having to call the police to get him out.

Poor guy got taken to jail. I later heard that he was an illegal and got deported. He should have woke up when we tried.

Surprisingly nothing was taken and my keys were still on the floor.

Then a few weeks later my purse will all my IDs in it was stolen from my house. Funny that the $400 sitting next to it was not. Now I carry a wallet and leave nothing in my car that matters. Now, I lock my house well and have a good guard dog. As for my car, I have good insurance and it covers it if it get stolen. So I don't really care about my POS.

My brother's girlfriend had her bookbag stolen, she had set it on the sidewalk and went around to open her trunk and make room for it, while she was fucking around in the trunk someone walked off with her bag, which had her scholarship check in it as well as her new laptop and brand new books (about four hundred dollars worth). Crazy. People suck ass.

Class ring=looks good/expensive
Bookbag=lots of pockets and possibly hidden stuff, perhaps robber didn't have time to check through everything so robber just took it banking on the chance that there was something good in it.
Philosophy books=expensive I'm assuming college level so thats, what, about $100 apiece?
Credit cards=potential cash. Just go to a store and get cash-back.

My conclusion, the robber was a student short on cash, possibly nerd considering the lack of condom stealing lol, needing some quick cash for tuition.

BEST STORY EVAR!!

My ex (some of you know who) and I "break up" (divorce). I was nice and packed all his stuff up for him nice and neat into boxes and left it when I moved. He loads his stuff into his truck and has been staying with a buddy hanging out on his couch, getting drunk and high doing nothing but playing video games. Being the smarty pants he is leaves his boxes of stuff in his truck with the door unlocked, a couple of guys completely ransacked his stuff and realized the only thing valuable enough to take, a big gatorade container full of change and some of his clothes, which he sees these guys wearing his clothes a few days later! Classic!

A long while back when I was still a little hellion and angry at the world, I would break into cars for quick cash. Me, My cousin and some of his black friends were breaking into cars one night, and we found the doors open of a med-size truck, I assumed he was a white redneck because of all the camo, the old John Deere hats he had, and confederate flag sticker on his back window, and things like "white pride" written on loose pieces of paper, nothing worth taking except for some cigarettes and a MP3 player. Then we found a dark blue sedan, I think it was a Pontiac, and did the same. We took some menthol cigarettes, 30$ in cash ,his wallet, and another MP3. We walked about 10 yards away. They stopped. "We can't take this, he's one of us, " said one of my cousin's friends. They had found a picture in the man's wallet with him and his friends & family - They were all black. They went and put back what they had taken in the blue sedan. I was outraged, I remember thinking," They think it's alright to take from a white person, but it's wrong to steal from a black person?", Growing up, I was told whites were the ones that were prejudice, not the other way around. Well, I was wrong. I took back what they had stolen from the med-size truck, and went and returned it. I thought I would just share this with all of you, even if you care of not. But, just for your information,I've changed a lot since then.

Oh, and just a head's up, when people steal things and aren't use to doing it much often, they do it quick and in a nervous rush, so they miss a lot of valuable items. Whoever broke into your car didn't know what he was doing. If he was good at what he did, he would take everything, and leave you thinking that you misplaced it.

Depending on your car and what you've got in it, it's sometimes better to just leave teh windows down/unlocked.

I know 82-92 F-body (Camaro/Firebird) convertibles are totalled if a thief puts a knife through the cloth top. Those tops cost $7k+ to replace, and the cars just aren't worth that much.

For my car I have a hidden killswitch that interrupts the ignition circuit, and I never leave anything valuable in it, so as long as have the killswitch on, no one's going to be able to jack the car, and they'll ahve a hard time stealing anything that's in it because... well... there's nothing in it. I leave the door unlocked. I'd rather them trash the interior trying to find something than punch a hole in my keylock cylinder or break a window or trash the hatchback.

But not everyone is able to do that. It's sad that fucking thieves ruin this shit for everyone.

I still maintain that thieves should be executed if convicted beyond reasonable doubt. But I think the same about violent murderers and rapists assuming there are no extenuating circumstances.

I grew up in NYC. Someone had this POS car parked on the corner down the block from me. Inside was a note posted on the windsheild that said "Take me, I'm unlocked. Keys are in the glove compartment." That POS never left the corner. Guess it's no fun to steal a car if no one cares if it's gone. It wasn't even that bad looking. In other words...not a junker, just an older car. I'm sure those that considered taking it figured it was a trap or something.

I don't know if any of you have seen that show "Bait Car", it's kind of a cheesy show but every now and then I see one that absolutely cracks me up. It shows people stealing "bait cars" and they have video set up in them. You get to see their faces when the cops flip their lights on behind them, it cracks me up..

I never left a note on my car, but I did frequently leave my keys in my car, windows down, and doors unlocked. I prayed everyday I'd walk out to find that piece of shit gone. It never happened.
