My Car Stereo Wont take the CD?

Maybe the mechanism is dirty and need some oil in it, or have to reset the system. Check on a "Reset" button on the back or in the front of the dash.

I have a Kenwood KDC 222 Stereo I put it in a grand am which I hooked it up and put a cd in and it worked fine so i took it apart screwed it to it brackets then to the dash kit... plugged it back into the dash pushed the antenna in.. Then I go to put a CD in the slot it just spits it back out at me... I was like well maby this is not good music so i tried some different tunes again it spit it back out at me.. HA JK but ya any clue as to why it wont take the CD???
