My car sometimes stalls at idle, and when I am driving the RPMs are strange sometimes?

My car has started stalling randomly when I'm at idle, sometimes even when I'm in park.

And when I was driving down the road, the RPMs went down to 1000 and I thought it was about to stall again, then the car lurched forward and the RPMs were normal again?

I had the resonator taken off of the exhaust lately and replaced with straight pipe so I don't know if that has anything to do with it...?

So... what do you think is wrong, and what should I do?

It's a '99 Grand Prix GTP, with a 4-speed automatic and 3.8L V6.
 
ahh the supercharged gtp haha lots of problems.. first of all your most likely problem would be an O2 senser and if i remember correctly they have 3 of them.. if you dont know how to check it your self take it to a shop and ask them to find out which one it is.. in some cases its a bad mass air flow senser but its not likely. btu im not there i havnt driven it so i cant garentee that im right but thats youre best bet make sure the o2 sensers are all good
