I did the "dollar bill test", which is I put a dollar bill over the exhaust pipe and after a few seconds of steady air flow going out of the pipe, it would suck the dollar bill in toward the pipe. I have been told this could be due to either a hole in the exhaust system or a burnt exhaust valve, but my question is how extreme is this condition---is it something I can continue to drive or do I need to see a mechanic sooner rather than later? Also, how expensive would a burnt exhaust valve/exhaust leak generally cost to get fixed?
