My car radio doesn't work when it is hot (above 75) outside.?

I can sometimes get it to work by slamming the door shut (can be drivers or passengers). I assume it is some kind of wiring problem but don;t know where to look. It works fine if it is cold outside. Any ideas are appreciated/
