fixed under the warranty? I had a four year warranty on my vehicle and when I moved somehow the papers were lost.
Now I need repairs that are still under warranty but how do I get the repairs if I don't have proof of a warranty?
The car was not bought at a dealer. It was through a military auction.
I also forgot to mention that I am now out of state of where the vehicle was purchased. Wondering if the warranty will even still be honored?

get hold of your old dealer , and they can help you out, or the dealer you are taking the car to get fixed. Your car should still be registered in the nation wide computer system by the company that made your car.

Your vehicle information should be stored in a computer under the file of the warranty company and any shop that honors those warranties should be able to type in your vehicle info and see what is covered under your warranty.

There should be a paper trail at the dealers. Call them and ask them to do a search.

go to the warntey people and tell them on the comouter they should have that u have warenty

most dealerships have informations about your vehicle and they have it on there computer just entering the car`s chassis number, others do it through the plate number.
