everything was fine was waiting in drive through and when I pulled out I smelled like burning plastic
and it started to make a winding noise louder when I accelerate. So I pulled into a service station checked oil, trans. and power fluid topped everything off and it is still making the noise
This morning I let the car warm up smell was not as bad but when I pulled into work the brake light was on??? Any Ideas thank you in advance

do you have a friend that can pull the wheels off to look at the brakes. It won't take but an hour or so and it might save you problems later. You have to take a look really really soon or something is going to happen. I have a truck and was pulling a camper. The brakes kept doing things to me. I got back home and the next morning the brakes went to the floor. What would have happened to me if my brakes would have failed in traffic. Have a plan, like 1. hit the emergency brake, 2. shift to low range 3. run off in the median to slow down. Good luck

do as every one else says take to a mechanic .It sounds like your brake light switch shorted out and that's where the smell came from plus it could make your brake lights stay on and the noise could be the alternator trying to charge to much because of brake light short
