Will take it in for a diagnosis, heater works fine, no odd noises, just wont get cold at all anymore and was wondering what it could be?
What does a recharge entail and can i tell if its low on freon? It's a 2005 and have had it since 2007 and regularly maintained!
Price for a recharge?

Your air conditioning unit could be out of charge or it might be dead. If it's out of charge they can do a unit charge and it will be good again but if it's dead (happened to my old car) then it will be expensive. Heat will work without air conditioning, but the air conditioning part can go out if it isn't used enough or maintained every few years with a simple tune up.

well... you may have a leak in your ac line... or you may just need more freon. Go down to the local Autozone, or whatever mechanical store you have, look for the freon... It should have step by step instructions to put in the ac. I did this to my car, and the ac works fine now. It cost about less than 20 dollars for a freon refill. Follow directions. If you feel as though you do not know, get a guy who may know, or call me, I'll do it. If this fails, take it in, and have them take at least 120.00 for the repair... they like doing this, especially around summer time, they know they get the most 'suckers' around that time... but if need be, give me a holler, it's not that hard, the ac jack should be around the front right, or passenger side... you'll know it is the freon jack because it fits the refill connector... follow the directions to know when to stop adding freon.. if it does not get cold, just be the one to take it in... good luck..
