My Car is a 1992 ford escort and it hesitates only once in the morning?

i have a ford escort and evry time in the morning when we cut it on it will turn on then sound like it is (vroom vroom) then dim down and shut off. we cut it on again then gas it and drive off before it cutss off but later in the day when we cut it off and start it up it wont do the hesitation that it does in the morning.
we replaced battery ad my mom said we replaced the air thing (i think )
and bought fuel cleaning stuff so whats the prob
