My car has been towed they want over £400 to get it back, is this right?

thats the problem in england parking without a ticket your car gets towed and it cost hundreds of pounds to recover it,,

even if your away just for 5 mins a guy will clamp your car and if your still away after 30 mins, a tow truck is called,,
thats why it cost hundreds to get your car back,,

never park your car without a valid parking ticket,, that just gives the cowboy clampers a perfect reason to clamp the car and tow it away, they just see pound signs in front of their eyes, and there is nothing you can do

lucky for us in scotland its illegal to clamp cars and tow them away,, thats why we dont have cowboy clampers in every city

I parked my car in a car park thus morning there was no one to pay so left a sign in car saying would pay on return went back a few hours later and no car. I've called and to return car they want £420 which seems a bit high is that normal. Any advice or help would be greatly received. Thanks
