my car got repo today...please help dont know anything?

i called the bank today and they told me that i have to pay the 2 months that are behind and 2months extra in total of 2260.00. That's crazy if i had that kind of money i wouldn't be behind. ooo and this is not including the repo fees for storage. i only have 1400 on me is there anyway that i can personally talk to the bank in giving what i have. please any info that can be given to me will be helpful. I don't know anything about this matter and would appreciate any suggestions. thank you
 
The bank has the upper hand here. They call the shots. They want the next two payments b/c they are tired of your delays in paying. Get a friend or relative to lend the money b/c they will auction off the car to a wholesaler & sue you for the balance. I assure you that they will win b/c you signed a contract saying you would repay the loan. Slap the $1400 on the loan officers desk & make your point that it's all you have.
 
DON'T give them anything until you have gotten them to agree to release the vehicle with whatever payment you can come to terms with. If you walk in and slap down a bunch of money, they will take it and you will still not get the car back. Call your bank and see what you can do to resolve the situation. They don't want the car.
