My car Gives a little kick when i stop and go again. whats can this be? Is

it my transmission? my Idle? My car will kick a little bit when i stop and then go. and when its cold it doesnt even go, you have to step on it. it goes away when its warm but is it my transmission or my Idle? HOw do i fix it or How much will it cost to fix it??? PLEASE HELP! Its not a big problem but i dnt like it.....
