I have a 94 Mercury Sable, and everytime i start it, i have to give it a minute or two to kick in gear, and for some reason it seems to only kick in going in reverse, but after it kicks in, it runs perfectly fine. I have also noticed that like if I ran into the store for 20 minutes and came back out to start it, it wouldn't go. I'll just keep revving the engine and nothing will happen, i learned that i have to wait at least an hour and 15 minutes-ish before i can start it back up again..a lot of people told me its my transmission and they've also told me its my starter...any ideas?
