my car cd player does not work anymore ????? Why?

i accidently touched my ground and power wire and all of a sudden a spark came and my cd player turned off and doesnt work anymore i checked the fuse on the back of the cd player but it was fine, so now im stuck please help me i have a 01 ford escape
 
You probably have a blown fuse in the vehicle's fuse box. Remember that there are two fuses in most vehicles that supply radio power, and they may not be labeled as radio fuses. That means you'll have to check all your fuses, including any fuse box under the hood.
