My car battery went almost dead; Will it come back by itself ?

I was detailing my car while playing the radio in the car and accidently had the AC on as well. They both ran for 2 - 2 1/2 hours. I have waited various intervals before trying to start it and it almost starts but not quite. Does this mean the battery should be replaced or just needs a jump then it will be fine ?

a normal life span of a car battery is 1-2 years.
try to start your car in afternoon in bright sun light.
the heat might charge your cars battery a bit, this will start the car.
if it does not start you shall visit a mechanic soon,
he will solve the problem without changing the battery.
or else you will have to replace your battery.
find if it is in guarantee period, it will be replaced for free.
