my car a 1992 3 door honda civic , everytime I step the brakes, the headlights...

...goes on as well!? when i release the breaks, it goes off. when i turn the parks lights or headlights on it doesnt happen.I know its weird, can please anyone help. thanks
 
As per previous answers, but also check the wiring on the rear lights, particularly the wiring with the rear side/driving lights and brake lights.

It could be a short on the wiring at this point, that causes the headlights to light up brake the brake lights light up.

(This can depend on how the wiring for the lights are fused)
 
the electrics wire for the headlights has got caught just under the brake pedal just take it into your closest garage and they will sort it out
 
WOW. You may have inadvertently created an upgrade on vehicle performance that the Honda engineers have been working on for years. Call them up and see if they want to buy your Honda back.
 
It wont go on when you turn them on because they are already on.Check the earth wires on the headlights and that the brake pedal isnt fouling the wiring loom from the light switch because the current from your brake light switch may be feeding your headlights
