So, basically, my boyfriend was sick with something like a 24-hour bug yesterday after eating french toast at a restaurant. It was a form of either norovirus, rotovirus, or a food related illness from eating undercooked eggs. His mom was sick too and she, too, had a dish that involved eggs. Neither of them actually vomited, but from what I heard, he "went to the bathroom," if you know what I mean. They both also had a headache and stomachache.
The day before this, I had hung out with him all day. And the day before that. We spend a fair amount of time together.
Was he contagious before he actually showed symptoms? Would I have had it by now [y'know, with the whole swapping spit deal, lol]?
I'm terrified, and he's getting mad at me for obsessing over it.
His mom is a registered nurse who works in the ICU, and she said it was food poisoning.
However, if it was an actual stomach virus, would I have had it and been showing symptoms by now?
I'm probably obsessing over nothing, but I need a few more opinions... D:
