before he goes to court? He got a citation for going 50 miles per hour through an intersection. The cops 'says' the speed limit through that intersection is 45. The cop didn't clock him. He just went by what he said. And there is NOspeed limit sign there!!! Abd he didn't write the speed on the ticket. He just wrote "too fast for conditions" we really feel the need to fight this! There was a court date posted there. We went today but they wanted him to pay before he went to court, & after he paid he could testify. & if he won the money would be given back. Does that sound right ?????????

Always fight it- you do pay ahead of time in full or a "nominal deposit fee"

Yes it is normal to pay ahead of time and still fight it - it sounds a little shady - use your information in court - take pictures of the intersection also.

NO because paying is like admitting guilt. He is not guility until court say so, so therefore he don't have to pay. I would talk to a lawyer before paying anything, unless he just wants to pay and get it over with.
