my boyfriend keeps saying my vagina smells like fish...?

he's only fingered me though, and I really don't think I have an infection but he keeps messing with me saying I smell fishy. I thought he was joking at first but now idk. When he said it, i'd just ended my period. He's saying I need to wash down there & I'm confused xD help? btw I'm 15.
 
He's just immature guys take longer then girls to mature ;). You probably smell fine if you wash down there regularly, all vaginas have a fishy smell to it, he needs to learn that, and tell him if its so fishy then why do you bother "fingering me"
 
maybe he could be trying to hint something but then again if you had just finished your period you prob will smell stronger nxt time he does it just spray a bit of perfume all over your body so it will take away that smell but not in side your vagina thoo xxx gud lookkk xxx :))))) (LLL)
 
immaturity, thats all it is, if hes complaining dont let him get in your pants, make him feel bad, give him a guilt trip..

just a tip, and to make SURE you dont smell fishy.. when you wash down there, make sure and wash the Labia really good :) maybe you could try a douche. (your not to young..)

just take precautions :) and hes STUPID!
 
Does he know what a 'normal' vulva should smell like? Because if he doesn't, then he may simply be talking out of his... bum.
Vulvas have a smell of their own, that's normal. It should not be foul though.
 
different things you eat/ ingest make your vag smell different ... the most common for making it smell bad are: fish, coffee, alcohol, and cigarettes... for making it smell good the absolute best is pineapple ... also other fresh fruits do as well but espeically pineapple ... good luck!
