My boyfriend just passed away on 020810, What should I do about his car?

My longterm boyfriend who I haved lived with for 17 years, just passed away, he has a $400 a month car payment, which expires on 122012, IF I wanted to would I be able to take over his payments, not so sure if I want to, also if I keep driving his car till they come to get it, will I be in trouble leadly? I'm on his car insurance, but since we didnt get married, I dont think I have any rights to his car..
