i'm 19, my bf is 26. he's a grad student at a different college. Despite taking 17 units and therefore having non-stop midterms this week, I've been cooking dinners. I spent today making handmade meatballs and pasta/pasta sauce etc. for dinner. He should have been home nearly two hours ago, but he's ALWAYS late. He probably won't be home for another hour as well...we were supposed to go out so I cooked in between classes to save time...but I guess that's not happening...
should i just eat without him? I feel kinda bad... :(
Thanks ^__^

I'm not an on time freak and I'm late for a lot of stuff, but it's pretty obvious he doesn't care about you enough as he should. Even disorganized people like me can make time for things that are really important, i.e. girlfriends. When you're dating someone, you need to put them before almost anything else. Clearly you're not a priority, so yes for one you should eat without him. In addition, you need to talk to him about whether he really cares about you. If he says yes, then tell him its important for him to show up for things with you, especially when you're doing something really nice for him. If he says no or sounds indecisive, tell him if you're not important to him then he shouldn't be dating you.
