My boyfriend is in Jail, and I have some questions.?

So it's been a week since my boyfriend went to jail, and he's called me once ( a week ago) while with a police officer. He told me he would call me collect, and I still havent received a call yet. I also wrote him a letter, and he hasn't replied to that either? Is there a reason he can't talk to me or something? I was a witness to his case, maybe the cops don't want us talking ? I'm really curious as to why he hasnt contacted me back any suggestions?..

He's in Victoria, B.C wilkinson road?
He said something about paying money, he has money so I dont find that being a problem, he also said he was going to write me etc.. and call me. He knows my address? and landline?.. Clearly theres something stopping him, I was just curious what it could be thats all..
 
dose he go to jail a lot? if so he may like it better then he like you or he is shame of being in there or the police may have did something to him and do not want him talking to anyone
 
I believe most of the times, those calls have to be paid for. Like sometimes, you have to set up an account with whatever company the jail has, and put money on it so the person can call you. I'd check and see if that is the issue.

Edit: Actually, I'm sure it depends on the facility and stuff, you can get calls on your cell, but you have to buy some kind of special card for him to use. Oh, and also he most likely has to put your number on a list so he'll be able to call you.
 
he is not calling you because he like what he is getting in jail better than you. I guess he shold not have broken the Law!! huh?
 
I was just passing through here and I thought I would suggest...

You know that you cannot receive collect calls from a pay phone like that onto a cell phone, right? It has to be a landline.

Just sayin.

Oh and if youre a witness, his atty probably did advise him not to talk to you at least by phone or written.
