Should i be mad? We've been dating/living together for 1 year, best friends for 5 years. I gave him.... not even hints! I said to him days and weeks before the big v day I hope i get flowers 
and awww valentines day cupcakes, that would be so sweet to get!
Then valentines day came. It was stressful, a morning at DSS(for him-he lost his job) then I took us out to dinner, paid for it all. and gave him a mix cd of songs that remind me of him- i didnt have money to spend on a gift, my card was the CD case lol. I DIDNT get anything
I told him today that it was mean that he didnt get me anything, i understood he had to save his money to pay off his court fees which were due today, but he did keep $100 for himself. He responded by telling me he had no money on valentines day(which he didnt really) and he wasnt as creative as me.
Should i just blow it off?
