My boyfriend and I had sex last weekend, my vagina feels like a rug burn, what can I do?

I was wondering if there is some type of gel or something I could put on it. I really dislike this feeling and am sure that I'm not the only one to get it. I should also state that there was no carpet involved, it has just been awhile.
 
Hmm, sometimes I get this for a few hours after sex, but it's been almost a week for you! That's really not good! If it lasts too much longer I'd be a little concerned :/
