I have a 3 year old dog who is very friendly and loving to anyone. His name is max. He recognizes it when anyone calls his name. However when max is eating from the bowl he ignores everything and only focuses on eating. When max was eating food, my boyfriend said, "max look at me". Max ignored him. Again he repeated, "max take a look at me now." As expected max continued eating. Then my boyfriend got up went running to the dog and kicked his bowl full force. Max got so shaken that he kept on barking non-stop and just wouldn't stop. Boyfriend later apologized and said that he was having a bad day.
My boyfriend acted bit weirdly with my dog. Is this normal behavior?
