My boss wrote me up for cursing, being immoral and having immoral conduct at work. I signed this write up because they made me but I wrote that I did not agree with the write up by my name. I was given 10 days to respond to this. My response was attached to 5 different witness statements stating that they witnessed the argument between a co-worker and myself and that I did not curse, and carried myself in a professional manner that day and at all times. (Co worker that was cussing and trying to get me to fight did not get wrote up.) I have been employed here for 5 years. To long to not list this company as employment history. These words immoral and immoral conduct in my work record will effect any future employment when other companies call for references. I gave copies of my response to HR as well as my boss. I had HR sign for them, date them and write on the front sheet how many copies of paper was part of my response so that nothing could be taken out by them. What can I do since my boss has attacked my character as well as my future ability to get a job at a respectable company. (I do not drink, curse, sleep around or do anything that would fall into the lines of being immoral at work or at home. I am a single mom trying to make a living not perfect just boring.) Help!
I live in Oklahoma.

Sounds to me like your boss is out to get you, maybe because you are a moral person. I get treated with disrespect at work for being a Christian, and trying (though admittedly not always succeeding) not to curse or gossip.
Are you unionized? Because I think you need to take this past HR , since apparently they are doing nothing about it. You should never sign any paper stating that you did something that in fact you did not do, just refuse to sign it. Why sign a lie?
