My Boss Is Tracking Me

I need info on I730 GPS TelenavRT tracking. How do I know when I am being tracked by the home office? How do I block the gps tracking signal? Am I tracked when my phone is off or battery out? those type of questions need answers

how the hell do you know what he is doing? why dont you STFU? honestly, i hate people like you who are out there just to put other people down. so your saying that you have never left early when there is nothing to do? how would you like it if someone was over your shoulder 24/7? grow up.

nextelmodz.com had a CP patcher to disable the gps. Don't know if it is still there? The other thing you could do is remove the gps antenna. It is a seperate antenna in most of the phones(not all). The only thing you must think about is that what ever you do will only work for a short time. If he is paying extra to track you, he will not put up long with not being able to track you. Your ass will be in a service center quick. Then when you continue to screw with it he will put it together and fire you. If he is smart enough to suspect you and then add gps to track you he will be smart enough figure you out and figure you are shorting him and well bye bye....

My advice is to be smart and not dumb! The tracking software is expensive and is cool right now to him. He will really be looking at it at first. After a while he will see that he had no reason to worry and will can it or not look at it. At that point you can then act up again.

bono, think about what you told me...

how do I know what he is doing? I don't but I am sure he wouldn'tbe asking how not to get tracked if he was doing what I stated...I was simply giving him the easiest answer to his question, sorry if you didn't like the truth.

STFU? no thank you but thank you for being so polite.

You hate people putting other down...I didn't put him down, if suggesting to someone to do their job when they are worried about getting out of doing their job sounds like that person may want to grow up and act like a responsible adult. but hey that is just my thought

I never said anything about leaving early, matter of fact I did leave early yesterday, I was done with what I needed to do, I checked with my boss and he said sure. Not hard to do. But I am also here when I need to be.

I would hate to be watched 24/7, and my bet is his boss is not watchnig over him 24.7 just when he is on the clock which is what a good boss should be doing making sure their employees are performing, by the sounds of it, this guy needs to be watched, but again that is just my thought.

As for growing up, I will try but I thought I was doing ok, i never insulted anyone and told them to STFU like someone else...

Thanks and have a good day.

It is obvious you have never been watched. I am not afraid of someone checking on my work. I am and have been in outside sales for 20 years with successful numbers to show the quality of my work every year. To me this shows me that my boss doesn't trust anyone so he can't be trusted himself. In my job I am available to my customers 24 hours a day so there is no way they can say they aren't watching me on my own time. The problem is I have to be flexible and make decisions every day as to who to see and which problem to solve. Second guessing those decisions from a printed bread crumb trail will create more questions than answers. A good analogy would be if your wife said she was going to the mall today while your at work. On the way to the mall her friend calls and says meet me across town for lunch. You see on the tracking document that she didn't go directly to the mall. Now do you ask her about it and piss her off or do you let the doubt grow in your mind? What if I oversleep one morning and don't leave my house until 8 AM instead of the regular time of 6 AM. Let's say the next morning I am nervous knowing they will see that I left late yesterday and in my rush to get out of the house on time I forget to grab my cell phone. An hour down the road I realize it and go back to get it. Now they see I am leaving late more than once. They probably won't ask me about it but the question is there. Now a week later I come to work looking tired for a couple days. I guarantee you they will not be able to resist looking at the report to see how late I'm staying out on work nights. Pretty soon they don't trust me - the tension grows in the office. I'm looking for a new job and they're looking for a new salesman. All the time I was the salesman with the best numbers. The obvious problem here is I should be spending my time planning my week to gain business for the company. Instead I'm worrying about how every move is interpreted on paper and I'm wondering about every glance or everytime I walk into a room at the office and the conversation stops. I can't work like this. Neither can the rest of the sales staff. If we can put holes in this tracking system by creating gaps in the tracking report they might stop doing it and we can get back to doing our job. If they continue our entire sales staff will be on a job search.
