...on me. What to do? I am a Paralegal intern and I work under a very busy and handsome attorney. I honestly have had a crush on him since I got my assignment and I think he knows it because pretty much all the girls are always googly eyed around him because he's charming, funny, very attractive and treats us very well. He has a client in Las Vegas and he asked me to accompany him because he needs assistance preparing the witness for the upcoming deposition. He has never ever needed assistance before and this particular case is no more complicated than any other. He has already cheated on his wife before with another attorney who left years ago. I heard this through the usual water cooler gossip chain. He likes to work very closely with me. When we're going over documents, he pulls his chair so close I can smell his colongue and smell the mint in his mouth. Just this morning we were going over details of the trip (we leave tomorrow), he has put me in the room next to his (a suite that is more fit for an attorney, not an intern), and says we'll be able to catch a show and will have a relax day before heading back home.
He is married and has no kids. He never talks about his wife. She does call and has stopped in and I never quite understood the connection because she's very plain looking, but I do know that she comes from a very good family apparently and works in finance (I googled her to death).
I can't not go. That is not an option and this job would be a great bargaining tool for a future job. How do I handle myself if he tries something, which I am 99% sure he will. No one else is going on this trip and no one even questions it because he's a rainmaker.
The worst part of all that I have written is that I have already pictured him in a sexual manner and I am afraid that i'm going to let something happen that I am going to regret.
CommonSense-Yes I do. You'd have to be in my situation to see how he acts around me and this is at the office. Thousands of miles away, I am sure he will do more.
