My Bloody Valentine 3D

Red and Green glasses?

I thought that this would have been polarized 3D with the clear glasses.

I would have thought so as the Red and Green/Blue 3D is cack and would put me off watching a film rather than sell it to me and get me to watch it.

Hi All,

I am new to this forum but i went to see the film last night and wanted to see what other people thought. I never go to see horror movies at the cinema because to be honest i am a bit of a wimp!! But i wanted to see how the 3D worked with the film and i have to say i was pretty impressed, was enjoyable.

One thing i am slightly confused about and if any one could clear this up for me would be fab!

The blonde girl (sorry cant remember names) who at the beguinning went in to the mine with Axel, Tom and Sarah (again rubbish with names!) , was she killed by the spade in the face? if so who was the naked girl who got killed at the motel, as far as i was aware she was already dead or did i get 2 blonde girls mixed up?

Thanks Blizzrd Rose x

It does at the Castleford one and you have to buy a new pair even if you have an old pair from another film.
I get mine free though as I have the unlimited card :D

To answer your question:

It wasn't Axel's girlfriend that was killed by the spade. When they escape from the mine and get into the truck his girlfriend is there.
Hope that helps :)

I'm (hopefully) going to see with this with my best mate next Saturday, originally I only wanted to see it because I am a massive Jensen Ackles fan :o I don't know if my cinema is 3D though - Is there anyway of telling?

I went to see this last night, not in 3D unfortunately but I could tell which parts would have been really scary in 3D!

As for the film, I liked it, wont say too much though! Although how weird must it have been for that girl to walk around stark naked constantly?!

MBV does look fabulous :). I'm not sure if I want to go and see it. I'd be screaming throughout the movie :o.

Will it still be 3D when the DVD is released?

Yes the 9.30 performance Friday night had sold out also in Coventry. We went at 7.00 (good job really as we had not reserved seats, though I had suggested we should, and it was limited spaces then for 3 people to sit together!). 7pm was a lousy time, but I didn't want to be coming out nearly midnight neither. My sisters bf had booked seats for the 9.30 showing, so we went and met him in a bar when we came out and he was waiting to go in. They were calling over the tannoy then that all seats had sold out

Erm problem? Just saying I was surprised how busy it was:mad::mad: See you can only talk about the naked girl part,. Did you go to see it with the girls or guys. Cause I guess what you were fumbling with lol!

I was just going to mention the original being one of the better slasher movies of the 80s and the fact it had 10 minutes of cuts to the gore and has never been released uncut, but when I went on wikipedia to check my facts, I saw this:

Which I just thought I'd share :)

anyone know if vue at ellesmere port is showing it in 3d? coz if not, i'll have to go all the way to manchester

although i don't mind that much if it's not. i only wanna see it to perv on jensen ackles, haha

Has anyone in Glasgow been to see it yet? Having looked at the cinemas websites the film is much more expensive to see than the others.Odeon is

Seen this last night. In 3D would be good, but its not necessary, it'll just distract you from the plot at times. I can imagine when colour came in people were having similar discussions about how some cinemas weren't showing some films in colour.

Anyway - even in 2D this is a bloody amazing film. Dwarfs, naked blondes, a sex scene, surprise twists, gory bits that make you look away, well acted. gets a 9 out of 10 from me.
