i enjoyed it BUT it wasn't remotely scary and i didn't jump once. even the bit in the supermarket shouold have had you on the edge of your seat but it just sort of washes over you. the 3D was good and i loved the naked woman bit, very funny i thought

jensen ackles was very wooden - kerr smith was much better

Try Cineworld Wakefield (it's on the industrial estate near toy's are us), that's where i went to see it because Odeon @ huddersfield aren't showing it till next week, it's a smaller screen than Odeon but the 3D effects are awsome.
I think it's showing about four times today.

also -
let me get this right, jensen ackles was driven mad by what happened at the start and went after the people who 'left' him in the mine with harry warden, is that right? was a bit messy the ending.

i've seen the original (v good film actually) and the killer is the husband so the little twist surprised me.

Well I have an unlimited pass, and the staff at my local cineworld have always given me the glasses without asking for payment! :D

Edit: didn't read your post correctly. yes the charge for the 3d glasses has always been in place (unless you bring them with you from last time!)

I have to say it was a very poor film but I did enjoy the 3D though!
Although it seems that a lot of people liked it as they are planning a sequel already according to Dark Horizons:

"Patrick Lussier tells CHUD that he and scribe Todd Farmer have already planned a sequel to their just released slasher flick "My Bloody Valentine 3D".

"If the movie takes off, Todd and I have mapped out a whole continuing adventures...we have figured out a way of injecting several twists and turns in the continuing adventure. Even though the mystery is solved there are still things to learn and things to know and things that are unexpected and reversals of fortune that happens to those who survive."

Planning out the sequels sounded like a fun time "We had great fun doing it because if you're going to do it, you don't want to retread what you've just done - you want to take it in a new direction. But at the same time, you want to do all those things people have fun with. And the mystery is one of those things and, you're right - how do you have a mystery when you already know the answer? Well, we've figured out a way."

As for the current film he tells Hollywood in High-Def that an outtake from the film will likely to be presented in 3D on the film's Blu-ray release."

I went last night also with low expectations and they paid off. It was not a bad film at all. Good story (won't say anymore than that as I don't want to spoil things for people). The 3D was very good (Iv'e seen good and bad 3D). The only problem is the 3D was funny and the killing scenes just got people laughing. The film seriously lacked at making you jump (not even one attempt to scare the audience shitless). That is the only thing it lacked, it certainly was not edge of the seat stuff). Just a good film with a laid back attitude, but definetely worth seeing.
I just wonder if I would have enjoyed it as much had it not been for it being in 3D? I would give it 7/10

I agree with you on this. was my first experience of a 3D film. some of the scenes were funny and a couple did make me sort of jump back and blink when stuff was coming towarRAB me. I was also wondering about what it would be like if it wasnt in 3D. I kinda couldnt take it too seriously because it was funny in places and found it hard to concentrate at times. But still a good film :)
