My bike's paddle fell while I was stepping on it?

Sorry! "paddle" isn't the right word, it's pedal. sorry for the wrong word!!!!
Well, my bike's paddle got damaged while I was on the streets. The other one only. When I stepped on it and about to turn it, it fell on the ground, so I walked and brought my bike home. I can also see that there's rust inside. So, how can I get it fixed up? My dad isn't around to fix it, yet. Do you think I should bring this to a repairman?

just screw it back in after putting some oil on the threads just remember the left pedal is lefthand thread and the right is right
