my bike wont start just backfires it was working before the person i bought it

Sounds like a timing issue. It's possible that the camshaft chain has jumped a tooth on one of the sprockets.

put in new bolt make sure its proper length if that does not work electrics will need sprayed with wd40 u will need to take off flywheel and dry electrics spray coils with wd40 and wipe excess off with dry cotten rag probably backfiring due to spark jumping

of took it to the beach ? what i have done is drain and cleaned tank/carb cleaned reed valve area //then i have noticed a threaded stud missing from exhaust fixing at front of engine block is this the reason for backfire or will it still start but be very loud .........pls help ..many thank`s

fix the exhaust, it was your only problem. don't ride it until you replace the stud. ne need to fantisize about what could of happened, just fix the obvious first.
