i have a specialized rockhopper, its fine in shift 1 (the gears on the left side) but when i click shift 2, the chain doesnt want to hop onto the next one. and it makes a clicky sound.
Sometimes its nothing more than a half turn of the barrel adjuster. If its not shifting up tighten the cable by turning the adjuster counter clockwise.
