Honey, leave his @$$. He's baiting you with the "promise" of an engagement and then using it to hurt your feelings when you argue. Every couple argues - the ones who last are the ones who know how to fight fair.

This guy is a jerk and is never going to marry you. Move on. You deserve better!
 
i think he might not be 100% sure that he wants to get engaged but felt that he had to say that he wanted to get engaged so that he wouldn't lose you
