We only have sex twice a month?
i've been with my boyfriend for a year and a half and, we're both in our 20s, i really feel like i love him and im really happy with him, i like the way he's an amazing friend, he's caring, and my family loves him. My only concern is that i don't know wether its normal that he doesn't really want to have sex. In the beginning of the relationship it was really physical i mean we had sex almost everyday and it was great, but then it became a little to physical and things got really tense. We broke up for like a month and during that time we worked on our friendship and when we came back together he didn't seem so interested with sex anymore.. and the only explanation he game was this " i just don't want our relationship to be based on sex i don't want this to be over again, i want it to happen when it feels special". Yes i do get it, i mean in his head its the best thing and hes a very rational guy (i mean he's a civil engineer) but its driving me nuts it's been months and we only do it like twice a month, if i try to insinuate something he starts saying i pressure him and blah blah and we get into a fight because it makes me feel odd that my bf doesnt seem to want me and it hurts me, im just a normal woman i just want to feel pretty and wanted you know.... i know a relationship is not based on sex but i know its an essencial part of being with someone
i konw for sure he's not cheating because his friends always make fun of him because while all his friends are talking to girls and stuff he's the one in the corner, and i just know he's not that kind of guy (i've dated cheaters and they dont act so lovingly) he's basically my best friend we do all kind of things together and we always have fun. Im concern because he has money problems and his family wont support him in anything, and also he was about to graduate for arquitecture but then he had a problem with a teacher and failed that class so he had to changed his mayor to civil engineer ( thats the way it is in mexico, im from mexico btw, you fail a class 4 times you cant graduate) so now his friends are graduating with out him and i know it does affect him a lot
